December 17th 2024School Funding
Pre-conference "A" held in the Washington Room This all day training will address the financial funding available to Schools. Experts in many different programs will be available to answer questions and provide valuable information on the most current programs and funding available to educational facilities. Lunch is provided by Stronghold Education.
Special Education Needs Training
Pre-conference "B" and in the Needles room
and throughout the conference agenda Mental and Behavioral Health Training
Pre-conference "C"- in the Badlands room with continuation of similar sessions carried throughout the conference.
Lunch is provided for the Preconference participants by Stronghold Education.

All day - Washington Room
In 2024 LNEC will have the
I Love You Guys Foundation doing the Security Training. The “I Love U Guys” Foundation serves the lives of students, administrators, public safety experts, families, and first responders through the development and training of school and community safety and family reunification programs. In the Washington Room at 1:00 PM on Thursday the 19th we will have Brett Garland presenting "Active Shooter" Training. Brett Garland is the director of the South Dakota School Safety Program, which is part of the state Office of Homeland Security. This training will prepare you to keep you and your students safe. Don't miss this informative session.

All day - Rushmore Room
Now in it's second year, local crafters and artists will display and present their talents and creations for your entertainment and delight. Some items can be purchased and just in time for the Holidays.
Artists from all Genre will be showcasing their art and in some cases doing demonstrations of their talents. Musicians, Poetry Readings, Authors Readings, Plays, Jewelry, crafts items, blankets and quilts, gift items, wall hangings, paintings, artwork, music, drama, the list is long of the artists who have been invited to attend this event.
